Join us for a triple treat Saturday, May 3, 8:30 am, as we explore public art in THREE areas in and around City Green with two guest guides!
Our walk will begin with a tour of Sandy Springs’ newest park, Veterans Park, guided by City Councilman John Paulson. Councilman Paulson, a Marine Corps veteran who helped vision the park and bring it to fruition, will tell us about the newest sculpture and special features dedicated to honoring our local veterans.
We’ll next tour City Green and the outdoor public sculpture gallery without walls with our guide Gar Muse, chair of Arts Sandy Springs.
Lastly, we’ll visit the Marsh Creek Rain Garden, just a short walk from City Center, and learn more about the creation of the garden and its sculptures.
Bonus: The Sandy Springs Farmers Market will be taking place on Saturday morning, plan to stay after our walk to enjoy the market and many vendors!
