Our Mission

Our mission is to create, conserve, and connect parks and greenspace in Sandy Springs. We want to ensure that attractive and safe natural areas, open spaces, trails, and parks are available for Sandy Springs residents, businesses, and visitors.



Our Vision

Our vision is that Sandy Springs will be known for its natural areas, public open spaces, healthy waters, trails and parks and the aesthetic, recreational, civic, and property values they offer residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Sandy Springs Conservancy, Inc. was established in 2001 in a grass-roots effort by concerned citizens to preserve rapidly disappearing greenspace and recreation areas in Sandy Springs.

We work to identify opportunities for land conservation, advance park and green space development, raise funds and bring volunteers to these projects in the Sandy Springs, Georgia community. Our flagship project has been the design and development of the riverside park at Morgan Falls.

We believe that strong public/private partnerships make strong communities. We strive to bring the right stakeholders to the table for all of our initiatives. We are proud to partner with the City of Sandy Springs, The Trust for Public Land, Georgia Power, Northside Hospital, the National Park Service and most important, friends like you.

We are a non-profit corporation, recognized as a charitable service organization under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 501 (c) (3). Donations to the Sandy Springs Conservancy strictly used to support our initiatives in accordance with our mission.
